Learn about computer vision with father-son duo Sandeep and Saveer!
Want to learn how to make computers see using Scratch code? You’ve come to the right place! That’s exactly what we did on this week’s live stream, and we also welcomed our first father-son duo, Sandeep and Saveer. They joined us from New Delhi, India, where Sandeep is the co-founder of CodeTigers, a coding initiative created to help kids in India learn to code. His son Saveer told us about his amazing projects, and about what it’s like getting to code with other young digital makers from all over the world. Fun fact about Sandeep: he runs a CodeTigers live stream to code along with young digital makers throughout India!
Speaking of code-alongs, today’s project required us to use a special version of Scratch, and together we coded the ‘Funny face follower’, a brand-new project created by Mr C! This is a perfect project to work on with your family and friends this holiday season, so make sure you try it out.
The end of the year is drawing closer, but you can still catch us next Wednesday at our usual time for another code-along session with a special guest. We’ll see you then!
