A Pioneers Event is a two-day event, usually held at weekends or during half term. You’ll have a good time over a couple of days with like-minded people, learn some useful skills and gain access to equipment and expertise you may not be able to find anywhere else. We only have a few of these events in the pipeline, but we are hoping to add more soon!

Cambridge MakeSpace, 7 and 14 May. Book tickets.

If you’d like to help us run an event, get in touch! We love to hear from people who want to spread their love of making, and we’ll support you as much as we possibly can to get your event rocking along. Fill out the registration form so we can get you all the support you need, well before you open your doors.

Every team needs a mentor. We welcome mentors from all walks of life. We’re here to support you and help you do a great job. Mentors must be aged over 18, based in the UK, and sensible. To be a mentor, you don’t have to be a digital making genius, but you do need to be willing to learn and to help the teams to find the answers they need.

We’ve provided support for each stage of the process, including an online discussion forum and monthly video hangouts to help you and your team. Comprehensive information can be found in our Mentor Guide Ideas start here.
