Hello World is the official magazine and podcast of the Raspberry Pi Foundation. Our resources are for computer science educators, digital makers and people interested in computing education.

We are always looking for more contributors — if you have an idea for Hello World, please get in touch.
What’s the difference between the Hello World magazine and the podcast?
The Hello World magazine and podcast are both produced by the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
The magazine is a print and digital publication released three times a year, packed with articles, insights, and practical resources on computer science education.
The podcast continues the conversation from each magazine issue, featuring interviews and discussions with educators and experts. New episodes are released alongside each magazine edition.

How often do you publish the Hello World magazine?
We publish the Hello World magazine three times a year. Occasionally, we also like to surprise our readers with additional special editions!
How can I find out when a new Hello World magazine is available?
Get emails when new Hello World magazines are available by subscribing via the Hello World website. Simply click ‘Subscribe now’, then log in or create a Raspberry Pi account. You’ll then start receiving notifications about new magazine issues as soon as they’re available.
How can I get a copy of the magazine?
You can get a copy of the Hello World Magazine from our website.
Subscribe to receive the digital copy directly to your inbox, or a printed copy in the post (if you live in the UK).
Thanks to our partnership, CSTA members are able to receive printed copies of the magazine in the US.
How can I get older issues of the magazine?
If you would like a print copy of an older issue or special edition of Hello World, visit our store to buy one for a small cost. If a regular issue or special edition is out of stock, we unfortunately won’t restock it. You can also access all of our issues and special editions for free in digital format, which you can then print yourself.

How do I write for Hello World?
We love to hear from people who would like to write for us. If you already have an idea for an article, fill out our Hello World article idea submission form and we’ll get in touch with you. If you would like to find out more about writing for us, visit the Write for us section of the website. We can support you by helping you with outlining, offering guidance materials, and providing feedback.
Do I need previous experience to write for the magazine?
No prior experience is needed!
Writing for Hello World is not only a brilliant way to share your content with other educators, but it can also help you grow as a writer and develop your communication skills.
Can I co-author an article with a colleague?
Of course! Collaboration and community is a core part of Hello World. You’re more than welcome to co-author a piece with your peers.

How can I listen to the podcast?
You can tune into the podcast on the Raspberry Pi Foundation YouTube channel, or via Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, or your other favourite streaming service.

Can I get free print editions of the magazine if I don’t live in the UK?
We currently don’t offer free print subscriptions to educators living outside of the UK and CTSA members from the US — but wherever you live, you can download a digital edition of each issue for free, and you can buy print editions from our store for a small cost.
I'm a print subscriber, why didn’t I receive my print copy?
We’re sorry to hear that. We need to send the final subscriber data to our printers and distributors a week before the publication of a new issue, and you may have subscribed for print copies after this cut-off date. We usually share the cut-off date for print subscriptions on our social media channels. If you subscribed in time and didn’t receive your copy, please contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
How do I manage or amend my Hello World subscription?
If you don’t already have a Raspberry Pi Foundation account, you’ll need to create one to subscribe. Once you have an account, you can log in and go to ‘My account’ on our home page. Once there, you can change your subscription plan, email address, and postal address.
How do I edit my subscription, or account details?
Log in to your Raspberry Pi Foundation account and then visit ‘My account’ on our home page.
From here you can edit your subscription status, and update your account details such as your postal and email address.
