Registration process

Registration is a three-part process:

  • Register for a place

  • On allocation of a place, pay for your place

  • Receive confirmation of your place

We cannot confirm your place until your payment has been received.

Allocation of places

Spaces for delegates to attend the 2026 Bebras International Task Workshop (BITW26) are limited to 100. To ensure fair allocation of places, and a suitable membership at the workshop, we will follow a selection process during the initial phase of registration.

The first allocation of places will be complete by Tuesday 20 January. We will then inform everyone who has been allocated a place and also share information for how to send payment.

If you are allocated a place on Tuesday 20 January, you have until Monday 16 February to pay for it. After you pay, we will confirm your place. If you do not pay by Monday 16 February, your place will be transferred to a person on the waiting list. If you need additional time to pay, or if you have any queries, please do contact us.

We recommend that you do not pay for travel to BITW26 and associated costs until your place is confirmed.

  • Members of the board

  • Graphic designers

  • Working Group Leaders

  • Pre-Editors

  • Host representation

  • New members

  • Single representation from each country

Remaining places

  • Rest of the Bebras community

All remaining places are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis.

Participation fee

Registration for BITW26 costs a fixed fee of £650 (incl. VAT). Payment can be made by card or bank transfer.

Your participation fee covers:

  • Accommodation 10–15 May 2026, in a single occupancy room

  • Meals and refreshments from dinner 10 May to breakfast on 15 May

  • Excursion and awards dinner on the afternoon and evening of 14 May
