Keeping the planet green with Jessica Greene!

What does it look like to use your digital making skills to protect our planet? We’re glad you asked! This week’s Digital Making at Home live stream for young people was all about the importance of taking care of Earth and how technology professionals, such as our special guest Jessica Greene, can work to protect our home planet.

Jessica is a software engineer for Ecosia, a search engine that donates 80% or more of its profits to reforestation. You’ll learn in the live stream recording how her interests in technology took her from a career in media production to where she is now, and how YOU can get involved in saving our planet too!

We’ve got another live stream planned for you next week: make sure to mark your calendars for Wednesday 4 November, 5.30pm BST / 12.30pm EST. You’ll get to join the chat with our friend Prof Lucy Rogers about all things tech and engineering!

In the meantime, keeping coding, digital makers!
