Issue #214 - Worldwide

Raspberry Pi Big Birthday Weekend 2018. GIF with confetti and bopping JAM balloons

It’s Friday! And what a busy week it’s been. Phew!

Today saw the announcement of our Raspberry Jam Big Birthday Weekend, which will be bringing the world together for our sixth birthday next March. Make sure to register your interest!

If you took part in Pioneers, make sure to keep an eye on the #MakeYourIdeas hashtag on Twitter, because the Pioneers Summer Camp at Google HQ gets underway today.

And there’s still more: we also bring you the latest issue of The MagPi with a free Raspbian disc, a landmine-hunting turtle, a Star Trek warp core, and more! So pull up a chair, put your feet up, and explore the week in Pi.

I’ll catch you next Friday!

Peace,

Alex
