Issue #255 - Weatherproof

Hello all!

It’s beautifully sunny in the UK, but wetter weather is never terribly far away. So it’s really useful that Naturebytes are making their weatherproof Wildlife Cam Case available as a standalone unit for the first time. It’s great for all kinds of outdoor Pi projects, not just nature cameras.

A Pi-controlled Magic: The Gathering trading card scanner and gorgeous gaming case mod both caused outbreaks of covetousness on our social channels. In an interview with the Guardian, Eben talks about the difference that many good teachers made to him. And this week also saw an update on the first Raspberry Pi educator workshop in Puerto Rico, co-organised by Raspberry Pi Certified Educator Alex Martínez.

Cheerio,

Helen
