Issue #291 - HRH

Prince Andrew and a woman watching a computer screen

Hello!

This week we were honoured to welcome our Patron, His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, to the Raspberry Pi Foundation’s offices in Cambridge. We got the chance to show him some of the work we do to bring the power of computing to people around the world, and he talked about his support for our mission.

Since this newsletter last adorned your inbox, we’ve also seen fantastic pictures taken by a space Raspberry Pi of a Soyuz vehicle approaching the International Space Station. We’ve showcased the wide-ranging catalogue of publications from Raspberry Pi Press, and discovered the best augmented reality party game imaginable.

Before I sign off, I know loyal readers will be missing Alex while she’s away on holiday, so if you scroll right the way down you’ll see a little snippet of what she’s been getting up to on her travels. She’s very special.

Until we meet again,

Helen
