Issue #344 - Furbies are back. Yes, they’re still creepy

Hola,

This week, our social channels were set alight by a project featuring a power-mad Furby pretending to control what is actually a Raspberry Pi-powered, motion-detecting robot face. You guys have weird taste but hey, so do we.

A defenseless Raspberry Pi was hacked up in the name of VMware, and an excellent Raspberry Pi arcade system was created inside a big booze barrel.

For teachers and students, we’ve made over 300 free, curriculum-mapped video lessons to help them keep up with their computing studies while schools are closed. And the Digital Making at Home crew had a super inspiring time with a live stream guest who hopes to be the first person on Mars!

Peace and love,

Ashley
