quite hostile.
my compose PM says
" We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more to be able to use this feature. "
and sorry, if "i dont want to have hassle with toll and mail, in case of guarantee or similar" is too hostile for this forum, perhaps I'll head over to the guys at hello kitty.

No there are only two points where you can buy Raspberry PI's, and that is from the two companies that also actually assemble them. These are two of the largest companies that sell and (in some cases also create) electronic devices, in the world, and they both operate worldwide, which is the reason why this non profit charity organisation went along with them, so that anybody (and any child) worldwide would be able to buy them, not just westerners.
There is thusly no possibility to just buy them on "any street corner", nor will this happen soon, if ever.
In this case the adagio "the customer is always right" doesn't apply, and so yes, you cannot always have what you want!
Sorry about that.
Lol, ok. what did i do to you to be that offended?
omg I say something evil about the - at the moment to me very annoying - way that the PIs are delivered?
If you want to be successful, apart from sending a few thousand machines to those guys who don't care about waiting weeks for stuff they have to order from 2 foreign country vendors, i think you should be able to stand more than just some arguing posters, who are NOT happy with this.
Or perhaps you are the one, to better head over to the hello kitty forum.
PS: I'm pretty sure this will a) be warned for "beeing not so very nice to the other kids" and b) be deleted.
