Autoplay a slideshow on startup

Mon Feb 09, 2015 5:49 pm

Hello fellow RPi-fans,

I would like to make a project which allows me to autoplay (and loop, ofcourse) a slideshow every time I reboot my RPi.
As a newbie, I understand that it's pretty easy to startup the file itselve, but starting and looping the presentation bothers me.
I've Googled for some minutes and couldn't find an up-to-date answer, so I thought, maybe I can ask someone here.

The program that will be used doens't really matter, as long as its also available on Windows (So no crazy Linux-only-powerpoint'esque things :) )

Thanks in advance!

Cheers

By thinking like an engineer you can create a raspberry pi.
Michael Jackson enthusiast.
I got the PI model B, B+ and PI 2 model B.
When will I get the A? I don't know.

There are 10 types of people: those who understand binary and those who don't.

I've found that thread already, only problem is... created in 2012.

Would it still work?

I found a newer thread which seems like the old instructions still work. viewtopic.php?f=91&t=87316
