It is a version of Ubuntu to develop IoT etal applications, it is not the same a Ubuntu Desktop version one installs on a PC/ Laptop

Thanks. Was hoping to get Ubuntu running on my Pi. Would have been awesome.

How is Ubuntu any more awesome than Raspbian? When I stare at my Raspberry Pis and my Viglen MPC-L I can't tell the difference without lots of finger poking and spark spitting. Don't tell me Unity is in any way a reason to switch to Ubuntu (it's seriously ugly).
