[SOLVED] Mouse lag

Thu Feb 05, 2015 12:58 pm

Hello all

I'm using this wireless KB & mouse set from Maplin and I'm getting horrible mouse lag, both on an RPi2 and an A+. I've already tried all the usual apt-get updates (apt-get update, apt-get upgrade, apt-get dist-upgrade) and even rpi-update - all to no avail. I've also tried setting usbhid.mousepoll=0 in config.txt which, as I understand, has fixed issues for many others, but this has no effect at all.

I've no issues with the keyboard on the Pi, and both mouse and keyboard work perfectly in other machines (my gaming rig, media PC, CentOS server, Linx 7 tablet, even my Android mobile phone).

Any suggestions?

usbhid.mousepoll doesn't go in config.txt, but /boot/cmdline.txt

If its the maplin mini wireless keyboard and mouse then this should fix it, it fixed mine.

A reasonable keyboard and mouse for the money.
