Raspberry and wiegand interface

Hi. I'm using raspberry pi with a wiegand 26 rfid reader and wiringpi.
Often I have problems on reader. Sometimes I have more than 26 bits, sometimes less.
Does someone use raspberry pi with wiegand rfid readers?
Which kind of experience have you got on this?

There is plenty of software to read Wiegand. My C/C++/Python offerings are available from http://abyz.co.uk/rpi/pigpio/examples.html (require my pigpio library).

Have you got experience on Wiegand?
Normally have you got a great result with Weigand or sometimes do you lose data?

I want to be sure that, by exchanging library, I will obtain a great solution, better of Wiringpi. But if wiringpi works as the other libraries, echange library will not be the solution.
