Hello everyone,
I just recieved my Pi today and installed Openelec. This all works well, however there is a problem with the file "streaming".
We have a main router, wich gives us internet from the ground, then another router is attatched to the main router.
When im making a home network with the Pi on the second router and my computer on the main router the pi doesnt see my computer, and i dont see my Pi.
I attatched my Pi to the main router, so i did with my PC, when i type \\openelec in the windows browser thingy it shows up all folders in the Pi and i can also sync files.
The problem is however that i cannot have my Pi on the main router (due to cables in my house) and link it to the tv at the same time.
Is there a way to link the second router and the main router so that i can see my PI when my computer is on the main router and the Pi on the second router? is there a program (for dummies) to sync files any other way?
Im assuming that \\openelec stores files on the Pi itself, wich is obviously not an option for movies.
I've watched youtube for over 2 hours but i just cant seem to get it fixed.
