Have a look through the issues of free http://www.themagpi.com/ to see if anything takes your fancy.

If you're planning on running it as a Kodi media centre then install OpenELEC
If you're planning on running it as a system to learn programming, etc then install Raspbian

If you want to learn electronics start with a solderless breadboard, a red LED and a 560ohm resistor and your Raspbian system

Let's re-write that...
I just bought a car from the garage ,petrol and all i need to run it.
What do you guys recommend doing/installing when i start in the world of motoring?
Why did you buy it? Where do you hope to go in it? Can you even start the engine and make it move? Will you know what to do when it runs out of petrol?

So, back to the RPi...

Learn to install an Operating System. You can't run it without one. And chances are something will go wrong and you'll have to install it again, so take note of what you have done. And think about how you are going to backup or preserve any work you have done on the RPi, so that you don't lose it all when you have to re-install.

The links to resources and projects are all good.
