Pi not booting after suspected power spike

Mon Dec 29, 2014 3:50 am

Hi All,

I have several Pi's connected to my network and there was recently a power issue which may have caused a spike on the AC line. I have tested the affected power supplies and they all test fine and I've tried the Pi's with brand new supplies, but still the units won't boot.

When applying power, the Pi's power light comes on, but the unit doesn't boot or bring-up a screen. I've re-flashed the card just to make sure but still the system doesn't boot.

The strange thing is that this is the same symptoms for 4 Pi's now, all doing the same thing.

Is there anything else I can try to see if I can breathe life back into these units or are they truly dead?

Thanks
Anubis.
