Hello,
My Raspberry Pi is correctly plugged, but my screen (which works, I tested it before) doesn't work. I read some topics of people with the same problem, but nothing worked.
Could you help me ?

Code: Select all
hdmi_force_hotplug=1
hdmi_group=1
hdmi_mode=1

That will never work.bin4r1s wrote:My screen has a VGA input, and because I don't have any direct HDMI/VGA adapter, I use 2 : 1 HDMI/DVI and another one DVI/VGA.
It WILL work, but only if the DVI to VGA adapter is an actual converter, rather than just a cable.drgeoff wrote:That will never work.bin4r1s wrote:My screen has a VGA input, and because I don't have any direct HDMI/VGA adapter, I use 2 : 1 HDMI/DVI and another one DVI/VGA.
As mahjongg says, an HDMI output contains no analogue signals. No amount of passive adapters can connect that to a VGA input.

The second image appears to show an HDMI to VGA adapter with analogue audio output. It does not show the adapter using its own power supply. Most people will recommend that you use an HDMI to VGA adapter with its own power supply, since the Pi can sometimes have trouble powering the adapter. You would be best using an adapter with its own power supply. Although I have two adapters without their own power supply that work fine I would not recommend this since it may not work.bin4r1s wrote:The adapters looks like this :
