How to encrypt and password protect an external hard drive.

How to put a password on external hard drive on raspbian so my kids won't get the chance to get into my hard drive full of porn? :o

Only one i found for linux was truecrypt, but thats been discontinued.
Two heads are better than one, unless one's a goat head.
