Is it possible to add a second operating system without usin

I have set up my pi with noobs from a pre loaded sd card, is it possible to download and install another operating system using only the raspberry pi. I am currently using Raspbian but also want to install RaspBMC or openELEC.

Yes, you can install Raspbmc or openelec using only the RPi. The documentation is here. You will need a working wired ethernet connection to the internet for your RPi.

But NO, you cannot ADD an OS to your setup: NOOBS installs all selected Operating Systems as a bundle. This means that your existing Raspbian installation will be overwritten.

You can also use a great OS called BerryBoot. You can install multiple OS's and when you startup your Raspberry Pi there is a menu to select what OS you want to boot.
