Note the October release is dated 1 October. Bash was updated after that, so if you want the most up to date version of the patch, make sure you run pacman -Syu after installation, to get the most up to date version of bash.

Not all of us can go to youtube, and there are a lot of pages on the web giving example code for testing bash. The above script is great, the output is very, very self explanatory, unlike the snippets I found posted around the web.
