10.1 touchscreen form flytouch 2

Thu Oct 09, 2014 3:58 pm

hi all,

i have a flytouch 2 10.1 tab sitting here gathering dust and was interested if i can connect this to my rpi???

i know its a old hat resistive screen but i only want to press tkinter python buttons for a project....
i would gather that this would need extra "drive" circuitry etc..

can anyone advise??

thanks

This forum is littered with failed attempts of using Tablet and similar screens, not feasible

If the Flyt is running Android then you can use SSH/VNC and remotely access a headless Pi, if both are on same network

Rather than negativity think outside the box !
RPi 4B 4GB (SSD Boot)..
Asus ChromeBox 3 Celeron is my other computer...
