Send camera view wireless

Hello,
let me introduce my problem first maybe: I make with my friends quadrocopter project. My part of this project is to realise camera vision and android application. I would like to use Raspberry PI for vision. The idea is to send camera view from raspberry's camera to android application via wifi, something like that:

I have some experience in JAVA programming for Android, so I think it's not a big deal to make application part, but I have problem with Raspberry, because of the experience lack. I need some tips how to realise camera view sending from raspberry. Or maybe someone know some tutorials/similar projects, I think it's common problem, but I couldn't find any information about this issue.

You probably want to look into making an ad-hoc network so that you can stream the video outside of your home network.
