Raspbian Freezes HELP!

Sun Sep 21, 2014 3:17 am

Hello, I just installed the latest Raspbian image on my raspberry pi. I downloaded it straight from the downloads section on this site today. It was working perfect, and I thought everything was going to work out smooth. Better Rethink THAT HAHAHA! Later today vnc quit working and then it started to freeze, and then now the internet connects but I get no internet. It says connection completed! But NO INTERNET! I'm using a quality powered hub. No crappy generic. Was working like a charm earlier. Seemed to all start when tightvnc was installed well shortly after. the pi and vnc worked fine for awhile. I have been pulling the cord. Only when it freezes. When it freezes I can't do anything to shut it down. I just don't know what to do. The power adapter came from adafruit. Though Capacitor did break off awhile go, I did not notice anything happen after that event.

"" I have been pulling the cord. Only when it freezes.""

This will corrupt data on the SD Card, it may not be freezing the RPi is low powered and can sometimes wait a considerable time to process data.

Start again with a fresh install of Raspbian Wheezy and on first boot when raspi-config gui pops up undertake to set the overclock option to high and mem to 128

SSH is enabled by default and use the RPF guides for remote access
