R-Pi video feed question.

Okay so I have 8 video feeds that I would like to record by having the pi take the feed and push it onto a hard dive as mp4 or some other codec is this possible on the pi?

R-Pi has no video-input capability. I've seen other forum threads mention that USB video-capture-devices are available, but I doubt the Pi would be able to cope with the bandwidth of 8 at once.
