Ayrshire Raspberry Pi and Amateur radio group

Wed Sep 10, 2014 5:04 pm

Whilst a lot of time has gone into the thought of keeping certain radio groups alive, very little in the way of real building happens any more and I'd like to find out if there are any Pi users who are also Radio amateurs in the area that would like to kickstart this in a new direction.

Things that I've already looked at: logging (software) Radio control (software) weather station control. Anyone interested in any of or all of these, things that also we'd thought might fit is quadcopter and camera type stuff. Any input would be greatly appreciated

Marcus.

Hi Marcus!
I'm nowhere near you, but this may be of interest...

I now have two TNC-Pi : will build one into my HDMIPi when it arrives soon.

The FunCube dongle works with the Pi: unfortunately, GnuRadio has not yet been optimised .
