Setting up VPN on Pi

Sun Jun 17, 2012 2:27 pm

How could I set up OpenVPN or some other VPN on my Raspberry Pi? Would the Pi work well for this?

I'm running Arch and went through the install for PPTP via the directions here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PPTP_Server

It will work pretty good as long as you don't have a ton of connections. Remember all traffic is going through a single ethernet via USB multiple clients will slow things down.

Lo all,
Im not massively experienced with linux and set out to makes the RasPi a PPTP vpn endpoint (as win7 and iPad supports pptp natively). Had quite a few problems along the way but finally got it working. Ive documented my struggles and solutions at http://jmparound.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06 ... erver.html

How about an OpenVPN client?

Has anyone had issues with this?
