Help Please

Hello,

I have just recently got hold of a Pi and I have no clue what I need on the SD card to make it work.

I have read the wiki, and it still makes no sense.

Please could you help me without all the clever words.

Assuming you have a Windows PC:

1) Download and unzip this: http://downloads.raspberrypi.org/images ... 4-2012.zip
2) Insert your SD card into your PC.
3) Download, install, and run this: https://launchpad.net/win32-image-write ... binary.zip
4) Find the file you extracted in step 1.
5) Select the drive letter of your SD card.
6) Wait for it to do its thing.
7) Put the SD card in to your Pi, hook up the cables, and go!
