Play ISO in Raspbmc

Hello! I have some movies in iso form which I want to play as well as physical dvds. Since I'm getting a new power supply for my Raspberry Pi, I can't test it right now, but was wondering if it was possible to do this. Most the posts I found are from 2012 or there abouts. I'm also open to other media centers also (OpenElec or XBian).

PS The iso files are dual layer dvd quality, so if the raspberry pi can't handle that, can you give me a suggestion to something like MCEBuddy that can make them SD?

You should be able to mount the ISO images, and play them as normal DVD's ...

I'm not sure about how good Raspbmc handles ISOs and DVDs. (two-layer should not be a problem, there is no such thing as a two-layer ISO)

But in either case you would have to buy the MPEG2 codec from the shop for you Pi. ( http://www.raspberrypi.com/ )
Wiyhout this codec you will not get HW-accellerated decoding of the video on DVD's.
