Debian "bootloader"

Does the Debian distro for the PI has a bootloader? What's its name?

Is it just something extremely basic without a name or is it something a bit more elaborate like GRUB? (I know it doesn't have grub)

Yes

bootcode.bin + loader.bin + start.elf ;)

I suspect what you're actually asking for is a boot menu - the only one that I know of so far is http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 699#p97699

Actually I'm on a "quest" to make a splash screen or something like that. Already learnt about runlevels and bash scripting, but I still have a lot of work to do.
