http://popcorntime.io/
I download the 32bit archive, extract, try to run popcorn-time.so and nothing happens; my cpu ussage does not even go up.
Help, please and thank you ^_^
I can compile it as I have the source, what command line for grunt would I need to compile it for ARM?kusti8 wrote:The raspberry pi is not 32 bit or 64 bit. It uses the armv6 and unless you have the source code, from git or somewhere, there is no way to run it on the pi (unless it can run under mono).
Edit: just looked and seems like the git page has been taken down. You do realize this is illegal right?
Look at this page for info: https://github.com/popcorn-time/popcorn ... /README.md and you will need npm also.marat569 wrote:

I use it to stream personal torrents (That are not illegal) and I know how to build it for windows and I have all the requirements on my windows machine to build and cross compile, I just cant find the argument for grunt to build it for arm.kusti8 wrote:Look at this page for info: and you will need npm also.marat569 wrote:

At least in the us, it is illegal.
I've been googling and it's an issue with nodewebkit and stuffkusti8 wrote:It is much easier to do the work on the raspberry pi. I personally have never cross compiled and find it easier to do it all on the pi. As for the illegal part, sorry, I misunderstood.
If you want XBMC then use OpenElec or Raspbmc distro'smarat569 wrote:I've been googling and it's an issue with nodewebkit and stuffkusti8 wrote:It is much easier to do the work on the raspberry pi. I realized why not get xmbc, but when I do apt-get install xmbc I get an error saying that a dependency was removed
