ePathChina 7" TFT rv camera display

Can you advise on connection - manufacturer guide is not clear?

Pi and screen powered up but connecting male display plug to composite input gives 'no signal'. Are other connections needed?

Hi,

Some things to check:

0. Cable between monitor and Pi is correct? check with multimeter or test with another.

1. On the monitor:

- Do you see the OSD menu on the display? If not, check the power, or the monitor is faulty.
- can you check with another composite video source?

2. On the PI

- no HDMI connected?
- Did you check with another monitor/tv the Pi is actually switched to the composite video output?
-check the config.txt settings to force composite output:at http://elinux.org/RPiconfig

This may help:

hdmi_ignore_hotplug Pretends HDMI hotplug signal is not asserted so it appears a HDMI display is not attached

hdmi_ignore_hotplug=1 Use composite mode even if HDMI monitor is detected

Are you using noobs?

Perhaps these keys pressed after boot may help:

1 to select HDMI preferred mode
2 to select HDMI safe mode
3 to select Composite PAL mode (for instance, Europe, China, India and Australia)
4 to select Composite NTSC mode (for instance, North America, South Korea, and Taiwan)
