Sun Jun 22, 2014 7:01 pm

Hi. I have bought 3 raspberry Pi. I want to use they with an rfid and building automation application.
Have you got experience with Raspberry and 24/24 working hours and 365 working days?
Have you had problems with the sd card or the power?

Yes,... no problem.

You can decrease number of SD writes drastically. There are some messages also in this forum how to do this. Additionally, all how-tos covering these optimizations for Linux are applicable also here.

If people don't use a product properly, they face problems all the time. The math behind power supply is very simple... if you follow it, everything works like as any other comparable equipment.

Best wishes, Ivan Zilic.
