M12 Lens and adapter for rpi camera board

Mon Jun 09, 2014 2:13 pm

Need to capture 8ft x 4ft profile image from the distance of 8 feet. Should clearly capture 10mm size nut and washer. The Rpi camera resolution is not sufficient. Want to add external lens to capture better image quality, for static and dynamic both. Not a controller environment, light keeps on changing. What is the best soution?

Someone does produce a M12 adapter. Worth a Google.

Problem with a different lens is the problems with lens shading correction. It will vignette slightly once you move away form the standard lens.
