xbmc crashes when on internet

Sun May 25, 2014 2:18 pm

Please can someone help?

I have a new Pi with powered usb terminal (for wireless keyboard/mouse), ethernet connection and hdmi to the tv. It all works perfectly when using the Raspbian interface. However, when I reboot and try to use xbmc the mouse/keyboard stop working then the screen freezes. The only way to stop this is to disconnect the ethernet cable meaning no updates or downloads. The os
is the latest noobs from the RP website.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like the powered terminal may not be delivering enough power? How much power does it say it delivers?

Thanks for your reply SDJF

I haven't measured the powered terminal yet.
However, it works fine when I run the Raspbian software and is very stable. The internet works fine.
In fact it hasn't crashed once.
In xbmc I have also tried a different wired mouse and no keyboard and it still crashes as soon as
the ethernet is plugged in.

Thanks
