I've purchased a WMC infrared remote with usb receiver that works fine on windows. The idea was to use it on a pi running Rasplex. However, it does nothing on Rasplex. I've had a look at some of the pages on this. I've managed to ssh into rasplex, and typing irw is supposed to give me a blinking cursor and each press of the remote generate a code. However, the cursor doesn't flash and the screen stubbornly shows nothing.
Not sure where to go from here with this. How can I get a remote with USB receiver to work on Rasplex?
