Installing multiple OSes on NOOBS

Mon May 12, 2014 5:36 pm

I've installed Raspbian, but I now want to install another OS without overwriting or erasing Raspbian or any of the files on it. How can I do this?

Simple: you cannot do this. The NOOBS documentation is explicit that chosen OS's overwrite the previous content of the SD card.

The short answer is: Yes, you can. Use a different SD card.

The longer answer is: Yes, you can do it so that the end result is both (or more) OSes on the same card, but it going to take some doing. It is best if you work out the details on your own.
