APRS Problem

I tiring to use the Pi as and APRS TNC. I use an old plantonics USB sound card. the problem is the USB audio out looks I got some serious aliasing. I want to use Soundomodem but only the USB mic input and the Pi on board audio output . Who do I configure the Pi for this?
