Piface input voltage terminals

Wed Apr 30, 2014 5:59 pm

I have just ordered a Piface from Amazon. Having looked at various youtube videos I notice that the picture on Amazon doesn't have an i/p voltage block next to the relay o/p's. All the videos show the i/p voltage block so what is going on? Have I bought an old model?

There have been two PiFace board hardware versions released, Mk 1 and Mk 2. E.g. I don't think the Mk 1 version had 8 leds on the output, and other minor changes. They are identical from a software perspective.

Thanks bulletmark, I think I am getting the Mk1 version so it will be going back. I am now going to get a Gertboard. :)
