Would it not be better if this forum ran like other forums where you can post in real time instead of waiting for the mods to Verify or am i missing something.

You're missing the fact that this only applies to the first 3 or 5 posts, which we do to make sure you're not spam, and then you don't have to suffer post moderation any more
