Booting rpi for first time... Help?

Sat Apr 26, 2014 1:21 am

Hello, I'm new to this. I have yet to get to the config page. I've had many attempts, and every time it goes to the a screen saying that it will start downloading the software in 15-25 mins. It does this, then goes to some code on a black screen, then restarts, and stops the process again... Can anybody help me??

Thanks

Whilst I appreciate it can be frustrating, your post has no mention of Operating System, or even how you got to this point in time !

If you are not au-fait with Linux, then would suggest grab a 8GB SDCard and use Noobs to install Raspbian Wheezy, the details and other help can be found here

Is you RPi connected to your internet router/switch with a cable?
