Not booting

Fri Apr 25, 2014 12:03 pm

With NOTHING plugged into the raspberry pi, and a stable power supply, the P3 polyfuse gets very hot when USB is plugged in. The power light fades. The pi does not boot. Please help. Thanks.

Dr. - It hurts when I do this.

Then don't do that.

What USB device? Does the Pi otherwise boot normally? What power supply? More details, please!
You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.
