Hi, hopefully this is the right place for this question.
Been playing around with various packages on my Pi (wonderful aren't they?) My basic needs are for a torrent box, TV recorder and DLNA server for files to watch on the TV downstairs. Been toying with XMBC but as I will only ever use the DLNA player downstairs it is a bit over the top for my needs. I've found Minidlna and just had a play and it does exactly what I want and runs very, very fast on the TV.
One little question - is it possible to configure what menu options are shown on the DLNA client? Specifically, I'd like to remove some options such as music and pictures as I can't see me ever needing them and possibly change some of the folder names. The issue I have is that some of the family take a while to get used to new bits of kit and continuously shout out "How do I find......" on this thing meaning I have to go and show them for the umpteenth time. Simplifying the interface as much as poss would be good! However I do get it that it may well not be possible to do and they just have to learn how to use it.
Thanks
