I have just written (I think) an image onto an SD card. The image is 2.96 GB but the finished size on the SD card is only 58.7 MB. Have I done something wrong?
Cheers
Brian
P.S. Sorry about all of these stupid questions
No, don't think you've done anything wrong. It will look like this if you are looking at the SD card using a Windows computer, not sure about a MAC computer. The SD card has two partitions the first small one is recognised by Windows and is usually FAT16 or FAT32. A second partition uses a Linux format that Windows does not recognise so doesn't show it. So all you will see is the small partition and nothing else.meddyliol wrote:I have just written (I think) an image onto an SD card.
