Ethernet port broken?

Sat Mar 22, 2014 2:40 pm

So tonight I plugged in my Pi as I usually would. I have Raspbmc installed and have an app on my android phone that I use as a remote. Had this setup working great for a few months. Only issue was this time, no network connection!
I crawled out of bed and connected a keyboard and found all the fields blank in the network information page.

The network lights still light up when connected to the unit. I have eliminated any issues with my router, just not sure how I can troubleshoot and/or fix the network adapter.

thanks!

Have you tried reinstalling RaspBMC? It might just be SD card corruption.
Pi2B Mini-PC/Media Centre: ARM=1GHz (+3), Core=500MHz, v3d=500MHz, h264=333MHz, RAM=DDR2-1200 (+6/+4/+4+schmoo). Sandisk Ultra HC-I 32GB microSD card on '50=100' OCed slot (42MB/s read) running Raspbian/KODI16, Seagate 3.5" 1.5TB HDD mass storage.

Have you tried swapping the LAN cable with another known working LAN cable??
