Is there a way to use the swap drive as the main drive, after initial boot? My SD only transfers at 20 MB/s. My swap space is an SSD in a USB 3.0 case. It should be able to utilize USB 2.0's full bandwidth of 48 MB/s.
Any Ideas?

I doubt you'll get anywhere near 48MB/s in reality. My OSes run from an external USB hard drive that's capable of over 100MB/s sequential, but it tops out at around 25MB/s for non-cached reads and writes via the USB port on my Pi.Sillyname wrote:It should be able to utilize USB 2.0's full bandwidth of 48 MB/s.

Since it hasn't previously been mentioned in this thread, I don't know!Sillyname wrote:I downloaded Gparted...what now?
What the hell was that???GTR2Fan wrote:If you have a PC running Windows then there's a much easier way that doesn't involve gparted or the command line.
