Picture Frame with Camera and Slideshow, Help!

Wed Mar 05, 2014 9:16 am

Hi,

this is not my first project with the Pi, but the first, i don't find any tutorial for. :)
You see, i'm a n00b and i need your help how to proceed.

try to explain:
i want to make a picture frame with a slideshow from a shared network folder or off the SD-Card, as well as by pressing a button it should run a countdown, take one picture and put it into the slideshow (folder) automatically.

my parts list:
1. old notebook LCD 15" + Controller (still waiting)
2. Selfmade wooden picture frame
3. Raspi + Camera Module + WLAN-Adapter

My question is:
What's the best way to handle smth like this? Where to start? I figured, i make the frame at last, so i know how much space i need for the parts to fit. I only read about big DSLR photobooth's, but not combined with a slideshow etc. for RPi.

If anyone is willing to answer, i thank you in advance!
@ if this works out. I'll post my first tutorial in your honour :)

Greetz.
