Just a couple of questions from an inquisitive mind
1/ Is there any way via software to detect whether or not a wireless keyboard is present on initial boot-up and subsequent reboots?
2/ If so, would it be possible to determine which of two installed OSes to run depending upon the presence or lack of said keyboard?
The reason I ask is that I've built a Pi-based media centre running Raspbmc, but I've also installed Raspbian for various other uses. The current installation of both OSes is via NOOBS v1.3.2, but I'm happy to use an alternative installation method if needs be.
Ideally, I'd like Raspbmc to automatically boot when no keyboard is detected, but Raspbian to automatically boot when a keyboard is detected. This would mean that I'd need no visible OS selection menu at boot-up and the whole process would be completely seamless and determined purely by the power switch on the wireless keyboard.
Any thoughts on whether this can be done, and if so, how?
