No camera preview

Hey guys...

I connected the camera unit to rpi and i can capture imges and videos...

everything is fine except i'm not getting preview on the screen...

I'm viewing the screen on my laptop by remote login.. Is it causing any problem for preview...?
I updated pi by apk-get update and upgrade...

pls help me to get preview...

The camera preview only works on the Pi's own screen, not over remote.
