I've been trying to get a Lilliput touchscreen working on my Raspberry Pi. I've read through an extensive amount of posts on this forum and other guides (including the EngineeringDIY and Simon's blog posts) and still cannot get it to work.
Fortunately, I think I have a good idea of where the problem is. When I run lsusb, I don't see anything regarding the eGalax device (yes, it's plugged in and the USB port works). Same goes for dmesg | grep eGalax. Weird... because all of the other guides have this part working.
I guess it could be a power thing as I'm not using a powered hub, although I am plugged into the wall using a standard power supply. I'm leaning towards a defective monitor, but I don't want to jump the gun.
